I want to thank you and your excellent staff, particularly Petra, for all that was done to make our tour to Dresden and Meissen such a hugely successful one. I have received such praise from those on the trip. Our guide was outstanding, she kept us enthralled with her exceptional knowledge on all subjects as well as her life in East Germany. She went the ‘extra mile’ and what an asset she is to this programme. The hotel was extremely comfortable and all our party had superb rooms and great breakfasts. Very helpful staff. With the back-up from yourselves and the guide I was able to enjoy the whole trip and on the occasions when I had to call for help action was swift and excellent. Yours is an excellent Company to work with and I look forward to doing so again.

The trip Dresden, Saxony Switzerland and Meissen was universally voted to be a great success. The hotel was very good, the weather ideal and most importantly we had an excellent guide. She was exceptional, full of interesting information, very efficient and absolutely charming. Without her, I don’t think that we would have enjoyed the visit nearly so much. Some of the group would have liked a little more free time, but then we would not have been able to see as much as we did, so you can’t please everyone! Thank you very much for all your hard work in setting up the trip.

Our five day trip to Dresden went without a hitch. The Hotel Dorint was excellent - service, accommodation, food and location. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and conveyed this knowledge with clarity and enthusiasm for her home of Dresden. We very much appreciated her guidance, help and advice. Our driver took us around Dresden and the outskirts which helped to orientate ourselves helped with commentary from our guide. The highlight of the tour for some of us was our visit to the opera to see a not so well known opera ‘La Clemencio de Tito’ which we thought was fabulous, costumes, scenery and voices and on our last day our visit to the Meissen Factory. Well done Tailored Travel.

I just wanted to pass you my thanks for a superb visit to Dresden. I'm sure the organiser will give you feedback but I am not actually a member of her group. The hotel was superb. Our tour guide was outstanding. I have done many such group tours and she was the best guide I have encountered with extensive all round knowledge and a friendly and fun way of delivering it. Thank you.

I would like to say a big thank you for a very well organised tour to Dresden. We all thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful experiences we shared. The hotel was a really lovely, comfortable hotel so close to the town. Our guides brought the whole of the interesting and varied itinerary to life, they were extremely knowledgeable which made our visit truly memorable, even the sun shone for us. Thank you so much for all your hard work helping to make this tour run smoothly, enabling us to relax and enjoy the wonderful city of Dresden and Meissen.

We had a splendid tour to Dresden. Everything was perfect. The hotel, all the travelling, the tour activities, the guide, crowned with glorious weather. Some members managed to fit music concerts in, and the opera on the last night. We were so fortunate, and all of us thank you and all at Tailored Travel for making the tour such a success. In the planning stages all your staff were so prompt and helpful, and on the evening before we left Petra rang to wish us well, and make sure we had no problems. That was such a nice kind touch. Please pass our thanks on to everyone involved.

I’ve finally got a few moments to write and thank you very much for making the arrangements for what turned out to be a superb holiday. Dresden itself has much more to offer than I had realised. It was fascinating and, in the time we had available, we could only scratch the surface. The hotel was excellent with very spacious rooms and very near the Old City centre (easy walking distance). The breakfasts had pretty much anything anyone might possibly want. I really think you shouldn’t bother to offer any other hotel to your clients. The buffet dinner on the first evening was well worth the small supplement for a huge variety of delicious dishes. Eveline was a wonderful guide. She didn’t spare herself and must have been exhausted by the end. So, all in all, a wonderful trip. If any of your other clients are considering going to Dresden and need reassurance, please feel free to give them my number and I’ll be happy to advise them. Once again, very many thanks; everything came together as planned, only, I’m sure, because of your attention to detail.

A huge thank you for all you did for us in Dresden last week. I did appreciate all the hard work you had done for us beforehand, little knowing that we would be in the midst of the floods and needing extra help while we were there. However, with your help and Thomas on hand everything went really smoothly (as I'm sure you've already heard), everyone was happy and some even enthusiastic with the surprise of a day in Leipzig, and no one had any grumbles within my hearing! All in all a huge success.

I have just returned from a wonderful and fascinating trip to Berlin and Dresden. I would like to tell you our guide was quite exceptional to detail and his knowledge of all that was seen and unseen both historically and aesthetically made the trip a real pleasure. By joining the group I met some very interesting and like-minded people.
