There was general acclaim from the group that the venues visited were first class, making for an excellent tour. Every day except for the last day we were guided by Tom and the entire group were very impressed with his knowledge and pleasant manner. He was in short inspirational. For the last day we were in the charge of Andrea who was very good and knowledgeable about paintings. We also had guides at the Pergamon Museum and the National Gallery. These too were very good. The tour as a whole was a great success and very enjoyable.

Our tour to Berlin & Potsdam was amazing from start to finish. The hotel was excellent and in a good area for walking out in an evening. The days were varied and full on, made even better due to the great depth and knowledge of our guide. He skilfully linked the history of Berlin to wider European history. Whether on the coach or at the historical sites, he filled us with facts across all the Arts. His knowledge of Architecture was second to none. The group was full of praise with the organisation and itinerary. Potsdam was brilliant, made even better with the beautiful weather. Berlin was a delight and surprised everyone with its space and cleanliness. The historical and modern contrasts kept surprising us. As group leader I could not fault Tailored Travel from start to finish and look forward to our next trip.

The hotel was great and very well positioned, just a few minutes’ walk from KaDeWe where we enjoyed eating and shopping. We are now looking forward to our next trip which is to Shropshire.

Our trip to Berlin was very successful. Our guide, Andrea, was excellent. Her knowledge of Berlin and about history, art, architecture, etc. was amazing, and she made everything so interesting. She looked after us very well and all arrangements worked smoothly, as well as being a very pleasant and helpful person. She also gave us good information of where to go and what to see in free time. I have had a lot of positive feedback about the itinerary, and the variety of interesting places visited. The hotel was in a good central position. The coaches used were clean and comfortable and the drivers careful and polite. Everyone enjoyed the visit and felt it was well organised.

I am writing on behalf of those members of our Society who subscribed to our trip to Berlin. We had the most excellent time. Your arrangements for our travel, our hotel and our itinerary were first class and your guide, Andrea, was quite outstanding. All in all, Viv and I were delighted with the whole set up. Our driver, Chris, got to know his passengers and they got to know him, adding an extra dimension of friendly contact to our delightful trip. The itinerary was wonderfully varied and interesting and at every venue we benefitted from Andrea’s huge range of knowledge, so gently delivered. Andrea also gave us running commentaries as we motored in the coach, filling us with fascinating background knowledge of Berlin and its history. The audio headphones we had were invaluable, and worked brilliantly, allowing Andrea to talk very quietly into her microphone, thus picking up no hangers-on to our group at any stage. Quite excellent. Everyone was delighted with the hotel, with its excellent breakfast buffet, and its central location. Of the evenings we dined in the hotel, the first was rather low key with minimum staff, being a Sunday, presumably. But on the last evening they came up trumps and all was crackingly good, assisted, doubtless, by a liberal supply of wine and Jägermeister digestifs, courtesy of the third free place which we did not utilise!!! So, in summary, you gave us an outstanding trip and on behalf of us all, but particularly Viv and myself send our sincere thanks, wrapped up in our warmest regards.

I really wanted personally to thank you for the professional, friendly and extremely efficient way you have dealt with our Group's visit. The hotel was super, the coach never let us down, Andrea expertly drew us together at the final stages of our trip and, of course, Tom was magnificent. As a result, our trip to Berlin will be unforgettable. We are holding a post-Berlin party during May, when we can re-live our wonderful experiences and share photos. Thank you and all the team at Tailored Travel for organising such a fantastic visit to Berlin for us. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it and the whole party got on very well together. They were all pleased with the hotel which was very comfortable and the staff were most obliging. I was glad too that the people who wanted single rooms all had doubles to themselves, so felt very comfortable. What a fascinating city Berlin is and what a remarkable recovery it has made since the war. Our guide, Andrea, was first-class and a fountain of knowledge about everywhere we went, plus much more, and we all found her most charming and very helpful. She certainly made my duties less onerous! The itinerary you produced for us worked extremely well and, whilst I am sure we really only scratched the surface of what there is to see and do, we all felt that we learnt a lot about the history and culture of Berlin.
