My husband and I have recently returned from a trip to the Floriade, Valkenburg and the Belgian Ardennes. We are writing to say a very big thank you for putting together such an interesting and enjoyable trip. Every detail of the holiday was perfect starting with our wonderful tour manager, Paul, who was so professional in carrying out his duties, but was also a fund of information, keeping us all highly entertained on the many coach journeys. Our driver, Tony Fairburn was a perfect driver and was cheerful and helpful at all times. Your choice of hotel was outstanding and the service there too was second to none. We all thoroughly enjoyed the many superb meals, and no doubt many of us put on pounds in weight! The hotel location in Valkenburg, a most interesting town, was superb also. All the visits were varied and full of surprises and added to that we were incredibly lucky with the weather. Altogether it was a most successful holiday and we now look forward to a repeat when we go away in 2013.

Just a line to let you know that we had a fantastic holiday in Valkenburg and at The Floriade. Ludo was a first class guide, very patient, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. He could not have been bettered. Wayne was a first class coach driver, too. He helped to make our holiday even more enjoyable with his knowledge of the roads and routes. The hotel supplied us with excellent meals and it was very clean. We had an excellent holiday and the itinerary which Tailored Travel provided was first class and most enjoyable.

On the trip itself, high points from the group were: Ludo was excellent, as were the drivers; Floriade, of course, but a long day; the Chocolate Jacques tour, made especially interesting by the enthusiastic guide; Schloss Augustusburg. So, all in all a very successful trip and I would have no hesitation in recommending Tailored Travel to other U3A groups.

I have just returned from a five day trip to the Floriade, Valkenburg & the Belgian Ardennes with the Watford U3A. This was my first coach holiday and I thought it was very well organised. The tour manager, Paul, was excellent, very knowledgeable, considerate and helpful at all times. This was my first group travel experience. I was delighted with the help you gave me as a ‘rookie’ organiser. The office staff were excellent and very understanding of every little concern that we had so making the booking very easy. It was great that I did not have to deal with the money side of the holiday too. Our guide Paul was excellent as indeed were the coach operators. Dave the coach driver was very helpful and it was a very comfortable and smooth journey. I recently took a trip with my Horticultural Society to Floriade and Keukenhof. I would just like to say how much I enjoyed it. Praise must also go to our coach driver Tony and guide Tim, a joy to travel with and very knowledgeable. We thought the whole trip was very well thought out and the hotel in Valkenburg was lovely.
