Thank you for a wonderful four days in the Peak District and the Potteries last week. It all ran like clockwork, all thanks to your detailed and dedicated planning, starting in October last year and right up to just before we left. Everyone was full of praise and appreciation, and I'm sorry to admit that I took a lot of the credit which rightly should have gone to you! The hotel was comfortable and satisfactory in every way and the food was excellent. Our Blue Badge guide was immediately likeable, very knowledgeable and with a clear delivery, and John was a careful and helpful driver, happy to comply with our smallest request, twice joining us for the evening meal so he must have liked us too. But my main reason for writing is to thank you, Vasiliki, for the hard work you put in to make this trip the success it was and to say how much I enjoyed working with you on it.

Let me say how well the Tour arrangements went. Again it was a highly successful Tour, the itinerary worked well and there were so many different aspects to it that there was something for everyone. The only comment was that I had packed so much in that there was not always enough time to see everything. But perhaps that will encourage our members to go back to Derbyshire again and sample their many delights. I cannot thank you enough for all your help to me over the 8 years I have organised Society Tours. It has been a pleasure to work with everyone at Tailored Travel and I trust my successor enjoys it as much as I have.

I wanted to write to let you know that we had a great holiday in the Peak District with everything going well – even the promised rainy weather failed to arrive! Joan our guide, with her knowledgeable but light touch and humour fitted our group perfectly. John the driver went the extra mile time and again, being enormously helpful throughout. Everyone who went enjoyed their holiday and I am very grateful to you for all your help and wise advice – many thanks indeed. The hotel worked well and I can give you more detail on this if you are interested. You were absolutely right that using porters for the baggage would be clumsy, but we managed. The staff were particularly helpful and friendly. My colleague at the Club, Tom, will be organising our holiday next year – I have taken the liberty of suggesting that when he gets his thoughts together he should contact you to discuss it all. With best wishes and many thanks again.

I want to thank you all for organising the holiday in Derbyshire everyone seemed to have had a good time and the hotel was very helpful in a few changes that had to be made for a couple of our more immobile members. The weather was very kind and forgot to rain which was a bonus. Cynthia, our driver, was as excellent as usual. In all the years that I have known her she has never been ruffled about anything. Cool, calm and collected. Thank you.

Thank you for all your hard work for the tour to Derbyshire - everything went according to plan and every venue was a huge success. The hotel made us feel very comfortable and they did keep the tables reserved for us for breakfast and dinner which made it all very easy for my members. The coach company did us proud - the driver was very good and the seats were some of the most comfortable we have had.
