Reviews for The Art & Castles of Prague

Date of tour: October 2013

I am just reporting that we have arrived safely back and the good news is that everything you booked worked perfectly! The hotel in Prague was very comfortable and in a good position on the edge of the Old Town with plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The reception staff were very helpful and there was a large choice of foods and freshly baked bread, rolls, croissants, cakes and pastries at breakfast. Excellent. We all grew fond of our guide Marcella who was very kind and thoughtful as well as being conscientious. She also helped us to organise coach transport for our visit to the Opera and liaised with the Café Imperial She was a great support in head counting etc. and repeated instructions, slowly and clearly, with special emphasis on the last day! We had lovely sunny weather and Prague looked magnificent – so we were very lucky there. Thank you so much for all your careful planning and help with any queries I have had. You have been very supportive.

We had a lovely time in Prague. All of the arrangements went perfectly well. The guide was excellent - friendly, enthusiastic, energetic and informative and the driver was reliable and helpful. So all in all, high marks to everyone concerned but especially to Don and you for all the donkey work beforehand.
