Suggested Itinerary
Day 1 - Garda
Scheduled flight to Italy from your preferred airport – transfer with our professional guide in our private executive coach to the 3* Hotel La Perla in the village of Garda.
Day 2 - Tour of Lake Garda
Coach and boat tour of Lake Garda to see the real beauty of the Lake and its villages including Sirmione, home to Maria Callas, Limone and Gardone Riviera.
Day 3 - Venice
Pre-booked boat transfer along the Giudecca Canal – free time at leisure to explore Venice including the famous Rialto Bridge, Palazzo Ducale and St Mark’s Square and for art lovers the Accademia houses masterpieces by Venetian artists dating from 14th to 18th century.
Day 4 - Dolomites
Optional trip into the Dolomites – with truly magnificent scenery including the Passa Por Doi and Sella Pass, both over 2,200m high, this is some of the most spectacular scenery in Europe
Day 5 - Lake Garda
Enjoy a day to relax at our hotel or a chance to explore beautiful Lake Garda.
Day 6 - Vicenza
Guided tour of Vicenza takes in Europe’s oldest indoor theatre, Palladio’s Teatro Olimpico – afternoon free for further sightseeing or shopping.
Day 7 - Mantova & Desenzano
Mantegna’s ‘Camera degli Sposi’ in the magnificent Palazzo Ducale in Mantova – relax at the delightful town of Desenzano on the southern shores of Lake Garda – optional farewell meal at our carefully selected Italian farmhouse.
Day 8 - Verona
Guided tour of the beautiful Romanesque city of Verona, Italy’s fourth classical city, and home to the Arena dating from 1st century BC and Shakespeare’s inspiration for ‘Romeo and Juliet’ – transfer to the airport for our scheduled flight home.

Having now returned from I thought you would be interested in some feedback. Overall the tour to Lake Garda went well and Lance couldn’t do enough for us. His knowledge is phenomenal and we learned so much about the area. Danilo, our driver, was also excellent and we all felt very safe in his capable hands. We had beautiful sunny weather and the locations were appreciated by all. Finally I would like to thank you and Tailored Travel for making all the arrangements which went very smoothly.

Just to let you know that our trip to Lake Garda last week went extremely well and everybody (including me!) had a really great time. The hotel was excellent, our guide, Chiara was first-class and all our outings went like clockwork. Thank you, TT for organising everything. We had one of our regular Travel Club meetings this afternoon, and everybody was still buzzing from the trip! It really couldn't have worked out better.

I just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to you all for helping me take the credit for such a wonderful holiday. I do not know of another Tour Operator who can arrange such a holiday of contrasts i.e. sunshine every day, fresh snow on the Dolomites not a rain drop in sight. Your selected hotel was perfect and the staff could not be faulted. Chiara did everything to make our holiday run smoothly and her care in getting medication and sorting out little problems couldn't have been better. The driver was attentive and helped our disabled lady with her walker at every stop. What more can I say - YOU ARE WONDERFUL! When I am asked "where are we going next year - put my name down" I know we are doing the right thing. Here's to Suffolk and next year.

Just to let you know that this was a very enjoyable holiday and that I received NO complaints!! The hotel was excellent as was the food. Chiara was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful but... the weather was terrible. We had to abandon the Dolomites, but Chiara took us to see the Iceman and then up into the mountains and snow and to a lovely restaurant for lunch - it was a very good substitute. So everyone was happy and they even said that the weather didn’t matter because everywhere was so interesting. They have even asked where we are going next year. On this matter I spoke with Chiara and she recommended Umbria so Mike has sent me details. Sandy, can I thank you personally for the way in which you organised our visit - I cannot fault anything so a big thank you and I hope we can work together again.
