Reviews for Art & Palaces of Vienna
I just want to say how very much I enjoyed the visit to Vienna. I think you organised a wonderfully varied and interesting itinerary and the music was an extra bonus, I loved the whole week. I look forward to joining you for another tour next year. With very best wishes and thank you for an excellent holiday.

Thank you so much for giving us such a splendid tour of Vienna... we loved it.

Very many thanks for an inspiring week. It was so well arranged and I felt completely at home in your group. I have always wanted to go to Vienna and the care that you and Tom took to show us the musical and art highlights was amazing. I am still processing all that we did and trying to decipher my notes! I shall hear Mozart with different ears after your lectures and concerts.

Just a quick note to say that all went very well with our tour to Vienna. The hotel and our guide were both excellent and we had a very enjoyable time in this lovely city. Weather good too!

The tour to Vienna was a great success and everything ran smoothly. I am sure this was largely due to your careful planning and hard work. It has been a delight to work with you and with Tailored Travel. So good to be able to liaise with just one person for each trip. I now look forward to the next tour to Puglia and many more.

What an excellent time we had in Vienna last week. I have been happy to receive many kind comments from our members attending the holiday as well as cards and e-mails. I want to congratulate Tailored Travel on the first class service we received throughout and for your programme. The hotel was very good, as was our guide, Ursula; the places we visited; and the coaches we used both in the UK and in Austria. Thank you very much for enabling us to achieve another great success!

Thank you for organising our holiday to Vienna. Great hotel! Very grand with its 22 crystal chandeliers! Good food. For the first time we had rain for a couple of days but it didn’t matter too much though the Danube cruise would have been better in sunshine. Vienna delightful and everyone enjoyed it so now I have to think of somewhere to match it – you will be hearing from me!!!!

Fantastic weekend in Vienna - thank you so much. Ursula was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable. The day out on Sunday was especially good and the cruise on the Danube fantastic with the sun shining and 35 degrees! Hotel was very good, one of the better ones we have stayed in and in a very good location. Many thanks again.

My husband and I have just been in Vienna on a Music, Art & Palaces of Vienna tour led by Peter Medhurst. It almost goes without saying how marvellous Peter Medhurst is in his lectures and concerts. I wanted, however, to let you know how helpful Tom, our tour manager, was to my husband on a personal level. On only our first full day one of Richard's hearing aids broke down and he was in total despair. Tom came to our rescue and found someone to mend it by the end of the day. To our complete horror the same thing happened to his other hearing aid two days later and Tom again managed to have it sorted out and by midday. He is not only a very informed guide but he is such a happy, upbeat and positive man and certainly if not for him, my husband's trip would have been very frustrating. We congratulate Tailored Travel not only for organising such a brilliant tour which went without a hitch but also for the terrific leaders who certainly made it for all of our group.

Just to let you know that we had an excellent visit. Ursula was brilliant, one of the family by the end of the week. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the concert, and everything else. Thank you very much for all your help.

The group consisted of 27 delightful people, no moaners, all enthusiastic and great fun to be with. The atmosphere, throughout the whole seven days, was excellent. Everybody helped everybody else, nobody was left out and, in spite of a few setbacks, everybody was very cheerful. If I was asked what were the highlights, I would say the visit to Kunsthistorisches, the gourmet dinner we enjoyed together in such breathtaking surroundings, the concert at the Kursalon Palace, although a little touristy, but it was so Viennese, and just being together. Personally, I was extremely impressed with Tailored Travel, particularly Nicola Hatch, who did her very best to meet all our requirements.

The Friends trip to Vienna was a great success and those who travelled on it enjoyed it immensely. As usual you and your team were outstanding and the itinerary was superb. The hotel proved to be a hit and was also very convenient. Ursula did an excellent job. She was a very knowledgeable guide and very kind and attentive to our Friends. We would also like to pass on thanks to Nicola who was highly organised and whose attention to detail meant that I had very little to do.

We have just returned from a very successful visit to Vienna. Everyone (41 in all) enjoyed the visit enormously and all are looking forward to next year’s visit to Budapest. The hotel was appreciated by all the members of the group. We would like to thank you and Nicola for all your help in organising of this trip. The hotel in Vienna was most complimentary of their dealings with you.
