Run, John, run….

Run, John, run….

UPDATE: After a long, hard winter of training, our managing director John finished this year’s London Marathon in a fantastic time of 3 hours and 13 minutes. John was delighted with the whole experience, “The Marathon was fantastic! The weather, the crowd, the atmosphere and I was really pleased with my run.”

John also went on to say, “High points were the minute’s silence for Boston, the first few miles knowing my legs felt good, Cutty Sark, Tower Bridge, seeing my family and friends along the route, passing the 3h 15m pacemaker at 20 miles, the wall of noise and goodwill throughout from the crowd and, of course, the end!”

Congratulations to John from us all here at Tailored Travel!

John was running in support of The Anaphylaxis Campaign. Not only did he have a great run, he also exceeded his sponsorship target by over £600, raising more than £2600.

As John says, ‘The charity has provided fantastic support to my family in the management of Joe, my seven year old son’s anaphylactic dairy and fish allergies by offering their expertise and advice, an extensive support network, alerts by text and post of mislabelled foods and, most importantly from Joe’s point of view, sending him milk-free chocolate Advent calendars each year!
