Day 1 – Montecatini Terme

Scheduled flight to Pisa – transfer with our tour manager in our private executive coach to the 4* Park Hotel Le Sorgenti in the charming village of Montecatini Terme.

Day 2 – Pisa

Optional guided tour of Pisa – rest of the day free to explore at your leisure the many splendid buildings, including the Baptistry, the Duomo and, of course, the Leaning Tower.

Day 3 – Florence

Guided tour of Florence to introduce us to the sights of the capital city of Renaissance art including the River Arno, the Ponte Vecchio and the magnificent Duomo followed by free time to explore the Uffizi or see Michelangelo’s ‘David’ at the Accademia.

Day 4 – Volterra & San Gimignano

Situated on a high plateau and surrounded by the original Etruscan walls, Volterra offers fine views of the surrounding hills – its 13 defensive medieval towers in the Chianti wine growing region give San Gimignano the name ‘the Small Manhattan’.

Day 5 – Arezzo & Montecatini Terme

Arezzo is famous for its hanging flower baskets and Piero Della Francesca’s frescoes in the Church of San Francesco – afternoon in Montecatini Terme with time to take the cable car to enjoy the lovely views from the historic centre of this charming village – optional farewell dinner at the excellent Villa Pasquini.

Day 6 – Pisa to UK

Transfer to Pisa Airport for our scheduled flight home.

Five nights at the 4* Park Hotel Le Sorgenti in Montecatini Terme in Tuscany. Four nights are on half board basis and one on bed & breakfast. All rooms are en suite and the hotel has a bar, restaurant and outdoor pool.
