Day 1 – UK to Waterford
Board our private executive coach at the designated pick up points – travel to Fishguard for our Stena Line ferry crossing to Rosslare – on arrival continue to the 3* Ramada Viking Hotel on the outskirts of Waterford.
Day 2 – Blarney Castle & Blarney Woollen Mills
Blarney Castle is one of Ireland’s oldest and most historic and is famous for its stone which is traditionally believed to have the power to bestow the gift of eloquence to all those that kiss it – time at leisure to shop at the Blarney Woollen Mills – check in at the 3* Holiday Inn in Killarney.
Day 3 – Killarney & Dingle Peninsula
Relaxing morning in Killarney or join an optional jaunting car excursion taking in the splendour of Killarney National Park and Ross Castle – tour the Dingle Peninsula with more breathtaking views of sea and mountains – enjoy time at leisure in beautiful Dingle which maintains its old fishing village atmosphere and is Europe's most westerly town.
Day 4 – The Ring of Kerry
Tour the spectacularly beautiful coastline of the famous Ring of Kerry starting in the village of Kenmare and continuing to Molls Gap for the most fantastic view, Killorglin, Caherciveen and Glenbeigh.
Day 5 – Muckross House & Glengariff
Visit Muckross House, the fourth house that successive generations of the Herbert family have occupied at Muckross over a period of almost two hundred years – taking in breathtaking scenery en route, enjoy some free time in Glengariff, one of Ireland’s most picturesque villages – optional cruise to Garnish Island, host to a multitude of plant variations and a blanket of summer plants.
Day 6 – Kinsale, Queenstown Story Visitor Centre & Jameson Whiskey Heritage Centre
First part of the day at leisure in the historic town of Kinsale – visit Cobh and the Queenstown Story Visitor’s Centre to discover one of the most important maritime naval bases in 19th century Europe that also served as the main Irish emigration centre to North America and Australia – continue to the Jameson Whiskey Heritage Centre in Middleton for a tour of one of the country’s most historic and revered distilleries – check in at the 3* Ramada Viking Hotel in Waterford.
Day 7 – Tenby
Take the Stena Line ferry crossing from Rosslare to Fishguard – time at leisure in Tenby this afternoon and you may choose to visit the National Trust’s Tudor Merchant’s House, a late 15th century town house characteristic of the area and time when Tenby was a thriving port – onward travel to our original pick up points.Half board accommodation
