Central Spain

I have recently returned from your ‘Art & History of Central Spain’ with my local DFAS. I have been on many similar holidays but have never had such an excellent tour manager. Paul had perfect Spanish and so was able to be as one with the coach drivers and good local guides. His historical knowledge was vast and presented in a relaxed and gentle manner. He treated us all like royalty and took enormous care for our health and safety.

Tuscany and Umbria

The trip was a complete success everyone enjoyed it immensely. The programme was excellent, a well balanced mix of culture and enjoying the ambience of Italy. All the guides were of a high calibre, but particularly the tour of Assisi with Priscilla. The tour manager, Ludovico, was a delight. His knowledge seemed to be limitless. He was charming and fulfilled a very tight agenda with tact, skill and humour. The hotel, was perfectly adequate for the job, we were so tired at the end of each day we just wanted to eat and sleep. The sheets were changed every day and the staff were very flexible with meal times to fit into our schedule.

Finally I must say what a pleasure it was working with your office, how efficiently everything developed. I know everyone on the tour will join me in thanking you for arranging such a memorable trip, my head is still full of all the wonderful things I experienced.

Bologna

Many, many thanks for organising such a great Fine Arts trip based in Bologna! Everything went perfectly to plan and everybody had a great time. All members of the party join me in sending this email. We really did have a great time. The Hotel couldn’t be faulted, our guide Anna was excellent and the coach driver, Stefan, very good indeed so everything went absolutely according to plan. We even had a little extra to the Tour as I enquired could we do a small detour on the return from Ravenna. As a result we managed to spend half an hour by the Adriatic seaside before the journey back to Bologna!

We now realise and understand what interesting places these Italian towns/cities are, and what a wealth of historical interest they all offer. Suffolk

Many thanks for all your help in organising the tour to Suffolk. The visit went very smoothly with all the different houses making us very welcome and giving excellent tours. Ian proved to be a very effective guide with a fund of local knowledge. He was very good humoured and amusing. I phoned Michael shortly after our arrival at the hotel, a problem with two ladies sharing a twin room, by the following morning they had decided to continue sharing, so there were no room changes or extra charges incurred. I did appreciate his quick reaction which I am sure helped to defuse the situation. The weather was also dry and sunny what more could one ask for. Thank you.
