Day 1 – Attingham Park

Board our private executive coach at the designated pick up points – visit en route a suitable National Trust property such as Attingham Park in Shropshire, an elegant 18^th century mansion, and home to a fine collection of ambassadorial silver, Italian furniture and Grand Tour paintings – check in at the 4* Ramada Plaza Hotel in Wrexham.

Day 2 – Chester Cathedral & Llangollen

Guided tour of Chester Cathedral, one of the best preserved examples of a Benedictine abbey in England – at Llangollen there is free time at leisure or an optional canal boat excursion through the beautiful Vale of Llangollen and across the famous Pontcysyllte Aqueduct built by Thomas Telford between 1795 and 1805.

Day 3 – Bodnant Gardens & Plas Newydd

The 80 acre National Trust property at Bodnant Gardens, one of the world’s most spectacular gardens, features huge Italianate terraces and stunning views across Snowdonia – continue to the 18th century National Trust property and gardens at Plas Newydd, one of the United Kingdom’s finest mansion house settings and the home of the Marquess of Anglesey.

Day 4 – Erddig & Chirk Castle

The National Trust’s Erddig property is one of the most fascinating houses in Britain with an evocative range of outbuildings and state rooms displaying most of their original 18th and 19th century furnishings –  visit the National Trust’s Chirk Castle, a magnificent medieval fortress with elegant state rooms and fine furniture.

Day 5 – Powis Castle

The world famous garden at National Trust’s Powis Castle was laid out under the influence of Italian and French styles and retains its original lead statues, while the medieval castle contains one of the finest collections of paintings and furniture in Wales.

4 nights on half board basis at 4* Ramada Plaza Hotel in Wrexham. Located on the outskirts of Wrexham, facilities at the hotel include a restaurant, bar, sauna and a mini-gym. All rooms are en suite.
