Day 1 - Lacock Village

Board our private executive coach at your designated pick up points - visit a carefully selected National Trust or English Heritage property such as the 13th century Lacock Village in Wiltshire - continue to the centrally located 3* Thistle Parc Hotel in Cardiff.

Day 2 - Cardiff city tour, Cardiff Bay Visitor Centre & National Museum & Art Gallery of Wales

Tour of Cardiff with our Blue Badge guide including a visit to the Cardiff Bay Visitor Centre, designed to resemble a futuristic telescope looking out over the panoramic view across Cardiff Bay - guided audio tour (fee extra) takes us through a wonderful collection at the National Museum and Art Gallery of Wales including one of the best collections of Impressionist works outside Paris.

Day 3 - Cardiff Castle & Museum of Welsh Life

Tour with our Blue Badge guide of Cardiff Castle exploring a history spanning nearly 2,000 years and introducing us to the lavish interiors created by William Burges for the 3rd Marquess of Bute - guided tour of the Museum of Welsh Life set in 100 acres of parkland with over forty original buildings and showing how the people of Wales have lived, worked and spent their leisure time over the last 500 years.

Day 4 - Castell Coch & Llancaiach Fawr Manor

Castell Coch, meaning Red Castle in Welsh, seems to be the perfect medieval fairytale castle but the interior is pure Victorian fantasy - guided tour of the fortified Tudor manor of Llancaiach Fawr Manor dating from 1530.

Day 5 - Dyrham Park

Guided tour of a carefully selected National Trust or English Heritage property such as Dyrham Park near Chippenham which was built between 1692 and 1704 by King William III for his Secretary of State, William Blathwayt, and now contains fine textiles and paintings as well as items of Delftware reflecting the contemporary taste for all things Dutch - return to the original departure points with comfort stops en route.

Four nights on half board basis at the centrally located 3* Thistle Parc Hotel in Cardiff. A modern hotel in the centre of Cardiff, facilities include a restaurant and bar and all rooms are en suite.
