Our suggested itinerary features return scheduled flights to Tallinn, four nights at the centrally located 4* St Olav Hotel, located in the Old Town and recently renovated to reflect the building’s Gothic history, with all excursions included and the services of a professional guide for all excursions and transfers.

Day 1 – Tallinn guided tour

Scheduled flight to Tallinn – guided tour of Tallinn taking in sights such as the Town Hall, the Church of the Holy Ghost and St Nicholas’ Church, founded by German merchant settlers from the island of Gotland in 1230 – transfer with our professional guide in our private executive coach to the centrally located 4* St Olav hotel.

Day 2 – Great Guild Hall, Estonian History Museum & Kumu Art Museum

The Great Guild Hall, dating back to 1325 and a gathering place for the rich merchants of the town to discuss economic and political agendas, is today the home of the Estonian History Museum – guided tour of the Kumu Art Museum, voted 2008 European Museum of the Year and home to a fine collection of classic Estonian art and a changing program of contemporary art.

Day 3 – Kadriorg Palace and Art Museum

Built by Peter the Great in 1718 for his wife, Catherine I, the grandiose Baroque Kadriorg Palace and Gardens is a fine example of Tsarist extravagance – a guided tour of the Kadriorg Art Museum introduces us to a wonderful collection of 16th to 20th century works by Western and Russian artists – after an included lunch, return to Tallinn for a free afternoon.

Day 4 – Lahemaa National Park & Palmse and Sagadi Manor Houses

Lahemaa National Park was Russia’s first National Park created to protect the landscape and the heritage of the area – full day guided tour includes visits to the Palmse and Sagadi Manor Houses and the fishing village of Altja.

Day 5 – Rocca-Al-Mare Open Air Museum

The Rocca-Al-Mare Open Air presents a unique collection of old Estonian buildings on a 79 hectare expanse of seaside land with farm building, windmills and water mills from various periods and regions – transfer to Tallinn Airport for our scheduled flight home.
