Our suggested itinerary features return scheduled flights to Krakow, four nights at the 3* Wyspianski Hotel in central Krakow, just a few minutes from the old town, with a full programme of included excursions and the services of a professional guide for all excursions and transfers.

Day 1 – UK to Krakow

Scheduled flight to Krakow – transfer with our guide in our private executive coach to the 3* Wyspianski Hotel in central Krakow.

Day 2 – The Jewish Quarter & guided city tour

Morning tour of Krakow’s Jewish Quarter with our guide – guided city tour of Krakow taking in the important sights of the city including: the splendid Cloth Hall, the world's oldest shopping mall having been in business in the middle of the Grand Square for 700 years; St Mary's Basilica, Krakow's principal church since the 14th century famous for its wooden altar carved by Veit Stoss; Wawel Royal Castle, home to three dynasties of Poland's monarchs and a matchless collection of 16th century monumental Flemish tapestries; and Wawel Cathedral, the coronation site of Polish monarchs and home to a wonderful art collection from Gothic to Modern.

Day 3 – Jagiello University & Wieliczka Salt Mines

Visit with our guide the 630 year old Jagiello University buildings, including the Collegium Maius (The Grand College), rebuilt in the 15th century as a splendid late Gothic edifice around a vast courtyard with surrounding arcades and whose alumni include the astronomer Copernicus and Pope John Paul II – established in 1978 as a UNESCO World Cultural & Heritage Site, nine centuries of mining at the magnificent Wieliczka Salt Mines have produced 200 kilometres of passages and 2,040 caverns and an underground cathedral where the wall decorations, altar, religious statues, floor, ceiling and even the chandeliers are all made of salt.

Day 4 – Auschwitz

A free day to enjoy Krakow at your leisure or join our optional guided tour of Auschwitz, the most notorious of German concentration camps in the World War II.

Day 5 – Krakow to UK

Travel to the airport for our flight back home.
