Our suggested itinerary features return scheduled flights to Ireland, three nights at the 3* Academy Hotel, centrally located near O’Connell Street, and three nights on half board basis at the 3* Holiday Inn Killarney, ideally situated to explore the Killarney National Park and the famous ring of Kerry, with all excursions included and the services of a professional guide for all excursions.

Day 1 – UK to Dublin

Scheduled flight to Dublin – transfer with our guide in our private executive coach to the 3* Academy Hotel in the centre of Dublin – dinner in our hotel.

Day 2 – Dublin

Guided tour of Dublin giving us a great introduction to the city of writers and poets and taking in such sights as Trinity College, O’Connell Street and Christ Church Cathedral – rest of the day free to enjoy Dublin at your leisure or to visit the James Joyce Cultural Centre or the Dublin Writers Museum in Parnell Square or the National Gallery.

Day 3 – Wicklow Mountains

Travel with our guide into the Wicklow Mountains, known as the ‘garden of Ireland’ – Glendalough is a 6th century monastic site founded by St Kevin and once a major seat of learning in medieval Europe – Avoca is the subject of Thomas More’s ‘The Meeting of the Waters’ – Powerscourt Gardens is set in 14,000 acres with delightful lakes and ornamental gardens.

Day 4 – Killarney

Leave Dublin and travel through beautiful countryside with carefully selected comfort stops en route to Killarney in the south west – check in to the 3* Holiday Inn Killarney.

Day 5 – Ring of Kerry

Tour along the spectacularly beautiful coastline of the famous Ring of Kerry through Molls Gap for the most fantastic view, Killorglin, Caherciveen and Glenbeigh.

Day 6 – Dingle Peninsula

Tour the Dingle Peninsula with more breathtaking views of sea and mountains – time at leisure in beautiful Dingle which maintains its old fishing village atmosphere and is Europe's most westerly town.

Day 7 – Blarney Castle

At Blarney Castle there is the opportunity to kiss the famous Blarney Stone and visit the Woollen Mills – continue on to Cork Airport for our scheduled flight home.

Three nights at the 3* Academy Hotel, centrally located near O’Connell Street. Facilities include a restaurant and a bar and all rooms are en suite. Dinner is included on the first evening and the remaining two nights are on bed and breakfast basis.  Further three nights on half board basis at the 3* Holiday Inn Killarney, a ten to fifteen minute walk from the centre of Killarney and ideally situated to explore the Killarney National Park and the famous ring of Kerry. Facilities at both hotels include a restaurant and a bar whilst all rooms are en suite.
