Day 1 – UK to Paris

Board our private executive coach at the designated pick up points – P&O Ferries crossing from Dover to Calais – continue to Paris and check in to the 3* Hotel Magellan.

Day 2 – Paris city tour

Guided coach tour of Paris taking in sights such as the Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysees, Arc de Triomphe and Notre Dame – afternoon free to explore Paris at your leisure.

Day 3 – Musée d’Orsay

Morning visit to the Musée d’Orsay with works by the great impressionists dating from 1848-1914 including famous canvases from Monet, Manet, Renoir, van Gogh and Cézanne – optional cruise along the River Seine.

Day 4 – Palace of Versailles

In the splendour of the Palace of Versailles, built by Louis XIV in the 18th century, we see the magnificent King’s Apartments, the bedroom of Marie-Antoinette and the Hall of Mirrors lined on one side by 70m mirrors.

Day 5 – Monet’s Gardens

Visit Monet’s Gardens at Giverny where Monet came repeatedly through his life, letting his imagination rove amid the complex interplay of light and water to paint his magnificent Waterlillies series – continue to Calais for our P&O Ferries crossing to Dover and onward travel to our original pick up points.

Four nights on bed and breakfast basis at the good quality 3* Hotel Magellan in Paris. Located in the grand 17th District, the hotel is close to the Metro and there are several nearby restaurants. All rooms have en suite facilities.
