SUGGESTED ITINERARY
Day 1 UK to Paris
We depart in our executive coach from our
designated pick up points for the Channel
crossing from Dover to Calais. On arrival in Calais
we travel on to the 3* Hotel Magellan where we
stay four nights on bed and breakfast basis.
Day 2 Guided tour of Paris
This morning we travel into central Paris for an
included coach tour with our local guide. Our
tour takes in the major sights such as the Champs
Elysees, the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe and
gives us a lovely introduction to this beautiful city.
The rest of the afternoon is free to explore Paris at
our leisure.
Day 3 Musée Rodin & The Louvre
Today we have a visit to the Musée Rodin with our
local guide where we enjoy the wonderful
collection of marble and bronze sculptures by the
great French sculptor including The Kiss and The
Thinker. In the afternoon you have time to visit
The Louvre or Pompidou Centre at your leisure.
Day 4 Musée d’Orsay & Musée National Picasso
This morning we see the wonderful collection at
the Musée d’Orsay including works from Monet,
Manet, Renoir, van Gogh and Cezanne. After time
for lunch we view some of the 250 paintings, 160
sculptures and 1500 drawings of Pablo Picasso at
the Musée National Picasso.
Day 5 Giverney
 Today we say goodbye to Paris. En route home we
visit Giverney and Monet’s Gardens (entrance fee
included), the inspiration for many of his great
works. We travel on to Calais and time permitting
stop for French wines and cheeses before our
Channel crossing to Dover. On arrival in Dover we
travel on to our original pick up points with
comfort stops en route.
